Kokrajhar : The 10th Annual conference of Bodo Cine Artist Association and 3rd edition of the much awaited Bodo film festival-2019 will be held on 6 and 7 December next at Haltugaon in Kokrajhar district with a two -day    extravaganza programme.

A reception committee office in this regard was inaugurated in Kokrajhar. President of Bodo Harimu Afat (Bodo Cultural Organisation) Jogeswar Brahma inaugurated the reception committee office in presence of large gathering of Bodo film industry. National film awardee Jwngdao Bodosa was also present on the occasion.

The film festval is being organised by Bodo Cine Artists Association to promote Bodo film industry and to also ensure cultural development and production of Bodo movies which is still at a nascent stage.

General Secretary of the Bodo Cine Artist Association, Dipak Kumar Ramchiary said around 30 Bodo film released between the 2017 & 2018 will be screened during the 2 days film fest.

“Total 21 awards in various categories including best film, best director, best actor, best actress, best lyricist, best scripts will be given away, he said and appeal all to extend love and support

The first Bodo film festival was held in Baksa district in 2016 where various awards were given away in 13 categories while Udalguri district hosted the second Bodo film in the year 2017 where awards were given in 16 categories.
