  • BPF announced 15 list for BTC elections

    Kokrajhar : The ruling Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) Monday declared the list of 15 party candidatures for the forth coming Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections scheduled sometime in April 2020.
    BPF party president and chief of BTC Hagrama Mohilary today announced the names after a party central executive meeting in Kokrajhar.
    The list includes 14 sitting executive members including speaker and deputy speaker.
    The candidates are Hagrama Mohilary, from No.10 Debargaon, Kampa Borgoyari from No.14 Chirang Duar, Mritunjoy Basumatary from No. 5 Saraibil, Rajib Brahma from No.9 Banargaon, Daneswar Goyary from No. 11 Baokhungri, Ansumwi Khungur Boro from No. 24 Mushalpur, Bijitgwra Narzary from No.26 Darrangajuli, Maheswar Basumatary from No.30 Goreswar, Ganesh Kochary from No.29 Suklai Serfang, Lwmshrao Daimary from No.31 Kwirwbari, Bonjar Daimary from No.34 Kalingduar.Jagadish Sarkar from No.35, Mwdwibari, Tridip Daimary from No.36, Harisinga, Shyam Sundi from No. 39 Pasnai Serfang and Moon Moon Brahma from No.1 Parbatjhora.
    Mohilary said the party is all geared up for the election and expressed confidence of winning in majority seats and forming the government in BTC for the consecutive 4th time again.
