  • For the last 5 years Blue Vector has operated mostly as a monolithic creative house, with a suite of creative services under the same roof – branding, films, social media marketing and the likes.

But beginning with the acquisition of Content Ninja in 2019, with its B2B inbound marketing toolbox, the one-stop-shop started the internal process of ‘diversification into specialisation’. Starting this year, Blue Vector is putting into action its strategy to ride out the agency wave with separate businesses for its separate services, each with their own specialisation and business strategy.

Creative powerhouse Blue Vector has recently announced the creation and launch of its branding and illustration studio, Wololo. Wololo specialises in high-brow brand identity development and custom design, and illustration work. All this with a focus on brands engaged in sustainability, inclusivity, and social progress.

Piyush Kedia, CEO of Blue Vector, added, “Design is the first thing to have come out of Blue Vector, so it’s heartening to see it come into its own full-fledged studio. We’re all very proud of Wololo, and I am excited to see it churn out brand identity solutions that are rich in creativity and innovation.”

Wololo’s current portfolio includes a full spectrum of brands cutting across diverse landscapes – from established FMCG brands to boutique restaurants and NGOs. While currently a small team of fewer than ten people, the company aims to grow exponentially and expand quickly with a broader roster of clients as well as new-age design practices.

“We’ve done more branding projects than we can remember, so I think graduating that expertise into a company of its own and going even deeper into our practices was the next obvious step. Also, brownie points for you if you get why it’s called this,” says Mridula Panda, who leads Design at Wololo.

Blue Vector is a full-service creative house that covers the entire spectrum of creative services for clients including digital marketing, branding, social media and films. With this launch, Wololo joins Blue Vector’s three other established companies, namely Content Ninja, Dot Films and InCommon, further enabling the scaling of greater heights.
