Corporate India is helping the government to fight the coronavirus outbreak by donating, supplying medical equipment and opening hospitals. Below brands have done their bit and are acting responsibly amid covid-19.

Oriflame

A leading direct-selling Swedish beauty brand, has always been at the forefront of extending support to those in need. In its latest efforts towards helping the community, the brand has donated 5000 masks to the Delhi Police along with 5000 masks and soaps each to the Delhi government.

The brand has also gone out of its way to contribute to the PM Cares fund. Each employee of the organization has extended one day’s salary as a donation towards the fund. The actions are aimed to equip governments with requisite tools to strengthen the preventive infrastructure while dealing with the crisis.

Shalimar Paints

In these tough times, Shalimar Paints has extended a helping hand to the community of painters by setting up a relief fund for the registered painters. Shalimar Paints donated paint to the SGT Medical College in Gurugram, which has been creating quarantine wards for the coronavirus affected patients. Apart from SGT Medical College, Shalimar Paints has also pledged to donate its paints to Lemon Tree and Fern Hotels, which are offering rooms as quarantine centers for COVID-19 patients.
