Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro will arrive in New Delhi today on a four-day visit to India. Mr Bolsonaro will be the chief guest at the Republic Day Parade on Sunday. Brazilian President will also meet President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow. Mr Modi had met President Bolsonaro on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Osaka in June last year.
The Brazilian President will be accompanied by eight ministers, four members of the Brazilian Parliament, senior officials and a large business delegation. Brazil and India will sign around 15 agreements during Mr Bolsonaro’s maiden visit to India. Brazilian envoy to India said the two sides will discus bilateral cooperation in key sectors such as defence, energy, trade and agriculture.
