Bringing Colour this Holi

Lemon Tree Hotels, India’s largest chain of moderately priced, upscale, full service business and leisure hotels today joined hands with The Society for Child Development to promote the “Natural Colours” program. This initiative provides meaningful employment to differently-abled persons who work all year to make natural colours for festive celebrations.

As a part of its ongoing campaign to ‘Empower the differently-abled’, Lemon Tree Hotels has been working closely with experts to arrive at comprehensive and innovative training modules. The partnership signifies the synergies and encourages similar initiatives that offer opportunities and support to the differently-abled.

The ‘Natural Colours’ Program provides gainful employment to about 570 disabled persons who collect flowers from Temples & Hotels all year round. These flowers are recycled every day by young adults with intellectual disability. The Holi and Rangoli colours are prepared by persons with hearing impairment and Orthopaedic disability. Selling is done by yet another team of disabled youngsters.

This year, let’s bring colour to the lives of those around us. Happy Holi!
