  • BSF Saved a Precious Life at Indo-Bangladesh Border

    Guwahati : Guwahati Frontier, Border Security Force apart from manning Indo-Bangladesh International Border, also assists border population in emergency like disaster response as well as providing medical assistance. On 12 Oct’ 2020, the local villagers of Village Bara Madhusudan, PS Sitalkuchi, Coochbehar(West Bengal) intimated BSF regarding Dinanath Ray, (25 Yrs), S/O Alanga Ray, who was in a serious condition due to snake bite.

    Seema Praharis of Border Out Post (BOP) Bara Madhusudan of 47 Bn BSF in Distt- Coochbehar, (West Bengal) under BSF Guwahati Frontier taken timely action and provided a Govt vehicle & evacuated the patient to nearest hospital Sitalkuchi. The border people lauded BSF for providing timely help to Border people. Border Security Force the largest border guarding force in the world, is dedicated for security of Border of India as well as protection of border population. BSF Jawans work with utmost devotion and exemplary alertness while performing duties in extremely difficult working environment in both the Eastern & Western Theatre.
