bsnlState-run BSNL will offer a minimum broadband speed of 2 mega bit per second (Mbps) from 1st October onwards to its customers, at no extra cost.

More than a crore BSNL landline broadband customers will get a minimum internet speed of 2 megabits per second against existing speed of 512 kilobits per second on their existing plans.
