Budget 2021-22 Expectations: Prices of medicine to become more affordable to common people

Ahead of the presentation of the Union Budget for the financial year 2021-22, people across various sections of the society spoke about their expectations.
Dr. Olympia Rudra of SSKM Hospital in Kolkata told AIR that she expects the healthcare budget to be increased and prices of medicine will become more affordable to common people. On another hand, small trader Rajib Basak of Kolkata expressed hope that in this budget, the manufacturing sector may be incentivised.
