Thiruvananthapuram: A delegation from Vietnam held discussions at Technopark Thiruvananthapuram seeking scope for business opportunities and cooperation in various sectors. The team led by Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Kien Giang Province, Nguyen Thanh Nhan, explored the possibilities of collaboration as well as opportunities in the various sectors of hospitality, real estate, utility management, efficient use of electricity and water, building management system and IT industry in Technopark.
The team welcomed companies from Kerala to tap their native business potential. They also emphasised the prospects of reaching Kien Giang province in Vietnam easily. They emphasised upon the substantial tax incentive slabs that they offer for Foreign companies. Additionally, as Indians can visit Vietnam without a visa, the prospects for the businesses to grow and flourish is favourable in Vietnam.
Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO, Technopark, briefed the team about Kerala’s IT growth, IT ecosystem and the legacy of Technopark. Vasanth Varada, Assistant General Manager (Customer Relationship), Technopark, Sreekumar V, Secretary, GTech and Center Head, Tata Elxsi, along with representatives from various companies were part of the discussion.
