The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs will meet on Wednesday to discuss forthcoming Budget session and its schedule.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said in New Delhi on Tuesday that procedure to be followed in bringing bills to replace the ordinances will be discussed during the meeting.

He has also asked the concerned ministries to finalise the draft of the bills as soon as possible.

Replying to a question, Naidu said, the government brought the ordinances in the larger interest of the people.

Taking on the Congress for criticising the government for bringing ordinances, the Minister said, Congress tried to secure political points by stalling important legislations in the Winter session of Parliament.
