Cape Town Test: India 142/2; SA all out for 362

    Published on January 3, 2011

In the series-deciding third cricket Test against South Africa at Cape Town, India were 140 for 2 in their first innings, a short while ago on the second day today.

Earlier, resuming their first innings at the overnight score of 232 for four, the hosts were all out for 362. The experienced Jacques Kallis struck 161 and steered his team to a sizeable total.

While Kallis anchored the innings brilliantly with his 39th Test ton, the last two South African batsmen also chipped in with useful partnerships to give a decent total which looked doubtful at one stage with the hosts reeling at 283 for eight.

The scores so far: South Africa 362.
