CBI apprehends two for forging PM’s signature

Bokaro : Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested two persons in its on-going investigation of a case relating to forgery of Prime Minister’s signature.

The agency conducted searches at the premises of the accused at Bokaro in Jharkhand and Bankura district in West Bengal. It also recovered large number of incriminating documents and articles relating to forgery of the signatures of Prime Minister.

A case was registered against them on a complaint that accused persons were organizing a programme on upcoming Independence Day by issuing a letter purportedly signed by the Prime Minister. The accused were sent to police remand till 27th of this month by a Delhi Court.
