CCD Owner VG Siddhartha missing in Mangaluru since Monday night

The owner of Café Coffee Day chain and former External Affairs Minister S M Krishna’s son in law V G Siddhartha went missing in Mangaluru since Monday night.

The Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil informed that Siddhartha went missing near Netravati river bridge when he got down from his car and was last seen by his driver speaking on the phone.

A massive search and rescue operation is on to look for Siddhartha. Coast guards, coastal police, expert divers, helicopter are pressed into service since morning.

Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, Congress leaders Veerappa Moily and D K Shivakumar among others visited the home of S M Krishna in Bengaluru today.
