~Restaurant style dishes at home with Chef Ajay’s newly released book~
Celebrated Chef Ajay Chopra released his first cookbook termed as ‘The Big Daddy Chef’ cookbook on 19th June. The foreword of the book has been written by twice Michelin starred Chef and owner of 9 restaurants in London, also his dear friend and mentor Chef Atul Kochhar.
Blending with the current trend of Do-it-Yourself (DIY), to satisfy the cravings of children, Chef Ajay’s newest book unwraps a range of well curated quick fix recipes. It is a compilation of restaurant style recipes that are eclectic yet healthy. Thoughtfully launched on the occasion of Father’s Day, it inspires men, especially fathers, to experiment with their culinary skills. Customarily, in Indian society, women have been expected to take charge of the kitchen. The ‘Big Daddy Chef’ cookbook promotes a culture wherein men take the onus from women to prepare meals for the family, even if occasionally.
Commenting on the successful book launch, Celebrated Chef Ajay Chopra, author of The Big Daddy Chef cookbook and Managing Director at Zion Hospitality, “It has been a fruitful experience and I am glad to have finally launched my first book. I look forward to encourage fathers to take initiative when it comes to stepping into the kitchen and preparing scrumptious dishes for their families through this cookbook, which goes against the grain and seeks to break the traditionally deep-rooted stereotype of women being the only cooks in households. The pandemic bought us closer to our families and fuelled my enduring idea of penning my own recipe book.”
Atul Kochhar, popular British television personality and Michelin star awardee, “I completely support the concept behind ‘Big Daddy Chef’. With Chef Ajay Chopra embracing the idea and walking the talk by cooking up dishes for his own children, it will surely stir up courage in Indian men to lend a helping hand in the kitchen to their beloved wives and mothers.”
For the Launch came forward names like Chef Ranveer Brar, Kalyan Karmakar, Kunal Vijaykar, Chef Varun Inamdar, Chef Kunal Kapoor, Chef Thomas Zacharias and showed quite a lot of enthusiasm online for the book launch. Ranveer said that every chef learns from his mother but fathers who are known to be people of few words actually build their children in many skills, so why not cooking.
The newly launched, ‘Big Daddy Chef’ is a self-published cookery book, that is now exclusively available on trusted online platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon at a price of Rs.599/- each. The book stands as an apt gift for fathers as it promises to charm the tastebuds of children through its easy and delectable recipes.
