Central Bank of India and Indian Navy shared a goal and a point each in an exciting and a hard VectorPortal-Goal-Vectorfought match played by both the teams in the Prestigious Elite Division league match at the Cooperage ground, Mumbai.

Indian Navy, a superior and a seasoned side took the lead against the trend of play which was till then being dominated by the young and talented players of Central Bank of India who were unlucky to get the goal in the opening minute, since a good long ranger shot taken by the young striker Charles Maschrenhas hit the upright goal post and went out of play. The lead taken by the Indian Navy side was short lived since Central Bank restored parity by a gem of a goal scored again by the young and hard working striker – Charles Maschrenhas. The goal bound move was initiated by Andrew Buruthollo who had a good match combined well with Charles Maschrenhas, which resulted in an outstanding goal.

Thereafter both the team defenders and goalkeepers played their hearts out and defended their citadel till the end of the 90 mts play by timely thwarting all the goal bound moves by which the match result ended in a 1-1 draw.
