  • Central Bank of India opened Ultra Small Branch under Financial Inclusion

    outreachCentral Bank of India opened an Ultra Small Branch (USB) in Muduchintapalli (Lingapur) which is having 433 households with a population of 2075 under its Aliabad Branch under Ranga Reddy District to offer the banking services at the door step of the villagers.  The Ultra Small Branch was inaugurated by Shri Malay Mukherjee, Executive Director of Central Bank of India in the village.   Shri Mukherjee issued smart cards to the villagers and the banking transactions started with Hand Held Devisor.  Further the Bank has issued consent letters to various beneficiaries to the extent of Rs.1.50 Cr  under Self Help Groups,Kisan Credit cards, SME etc.  The function was attended by the villagers from in and around 10 to 15 villages  Shri N. K. Balakrishnan, Field General Manager of Hyderabad Zone while speaking in the function informed the villagers that the Muduchinthapalli village will be adopted by the Bank for all round development of the Village.  Shri Periathambi, Regional Manager also spoke on this occasion.  Smt. V. Padma Laxmi Reddy, Village Surpanch and Shri K Madhusudhan Reddy, Village Development Committee President appreciated the Bank’s initiative in establishment of USB in their village.
