Century Plyboards’ reports highest ever revenue and profitability in Q2 2021-22

India’s leading plywood company, Century Plyboards (India) Ltd., today announced its results for the second quarter of FY 21-22.
Highlights:
- Net Revenue from operations for the Second Quarter, ending 30th September, 2021-22 fiscal, was Rs 808.29 crore: an increase of 55.5% over corresponding period of last financial year (519.82 crore)
- Profit After Tax for the quarter ending 30th September, 2021-22 was Rs. 103.08 crores; showing an increase of 100.4% over corresponding period of last financial year (Rs. 51.44 crores)
- All our lines of business have performed exceptionally well during the quarter under review
- Price increase, cost optimization and enhanced production and sales have led to significant margin improvement.
Business Outlook:
Commenting on the company’s performance, Mr. Sajjan Bhajanka, Chairman, Century Plyboards (India) Ltd said, “After having achieved highest ever revenue and profitability in Q2, we are geared to achieve greater heights in the years to come. Promising numbers in the real estate and overall improvement in the economy would drive our performance going forward.”
