To facilitate traffic block for Yard Remodelling Works at Chingavanam Railway Station as a part of doubling works between Changanassery and Chingavanam, the following major changes in pattern of train services will be introduced from 12^th December 2018 to 23^rd December 2018.

DIVERSION OF TRAINS

1. Train No. 17229 Thiruvananthapuram-Hyderabad Sabari Express will be diverted between Kayamkulam -Ernakulam to run via Alappuzha-Ernakulam Jn-Ernakulam North on all days from 12^th December 2018 to 23^rd December 2018 skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. Instead the train will have additional temporary stoppage at Haripad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn during these days.

 

2. Train No. 12626 New Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram Kerala Express will be diverted between Ernakulam –Kayamkulam to run via Alappuzha-Ernakulam Jn-Ernakulam North all days from 12^th December 2018 to 23^rd December 2018 skipping its scheduled stoppages at Vaikam Road, Kottayam, Changanssery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, and Mavelikara. Instead the train will have additional temporary stoppage at Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalapuzha and Haripad during these days.

3. Train No.16650 Nagercoil-Mangalore Parasuram Express will be diverted between Kayamkualm-Ernakulam to run via Alappuzha-Ernakulam Jn-Ernakulam North on 22^nd December 2018, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ettumanur, Piravam Road and Trippunithura. Instead the train will stop at Haripad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

4. Train No.16382 Kanniyakumari-Mumbai CSMT Jayanthi Express will be diverted between Kayamkulam-Ernakulam to run via Alappuzha-Ernakulam Jn-Ernakulam North on 22^nd December 2018, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. Instead the train will stop at Haripad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

5. Train No.12202 Kochuveli-Lokmanyatilak Express will be diverted between Kayamkulam-Ernakulam to run via Alappuzha-Ernakulam Jn-Ernakulam North on 13^th ,16^th, 20^th and 23^rd December 2018 skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur, Thiruvalla, and Kottayam. Instead the train will stop at Haripad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

6. Train No 22659 Kochuveli-Dehradun Weekly Express will be diverted between Kayamkulam-Ernakulam to run via Alappuzha-Ernakulam Jn-Ernakulam North on 14^th and 21^st December 2018 skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur and Kottayam. Instead the train will stop at Haripad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.

7. Train No.16526 KSR Bengaluru-Kanniyakumari Island Express will be diverted between Ernakulam –Kayamkulam to run via Ernakulam North-Ernakulam Jn-Alappuzha on 22^nd December 2018. The train will stop at Ernakulam, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalapuzha and Haripad.

8. Train No.12081 Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram Janshatabdi Express will be diverted between Ernakulam –Kayamkulam to run via Ernakulam North-Ernakulam Jn-Alappuzha on 13^th, 14^th, 15^th, 17^th, 18^th, 20^th, 21^st and 22^nd December 2018. The train will stop at Ernakulam, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalapuzha and Haripad.

9. Train No.22654 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Express will be diverted between Ernakulam –Kayamkulam to run via Ernakulam North-Ernakulam Jn-Alappuzha on 12^th and 19^th December 2018. The train will stop at Ernakulam, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalapuzha and Haripad.

10. Train No. 22660 Dehradun-Kochuveli Express will be diverted between Ernakulam –Kayamkulam to run via Ernakulam North-Ernakulam Jn-Alappuzha on 12^th and 19^th December 2018. The train will stop at Ernakulam, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalapuzha and Haripad.

11. Train No. 18567 Visakhaptnam-Kollam Weekly Express will be diverted to run via Ernakulam North-Ernakulam Jn-Alappuzha on 14^thand 21^st December 2018. The train will stop at Ernakulam, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalapuzha and Haripad.

FULL CANCELLATION

The following passenger trains will be fully cancelled on all days from 12^th December 2018 to 23^rd December 2018.

1. Train No.56394 Kollam-Kottayam Passenger.
2. Train No.56393 Kottayam-Kollam Passenger.
3. Train No.56387 Ernakulam-Kayamkulam Passenger via Kottayam.
4. Train No.56388 Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passenger via Kottayam.
5. Train No.56381 Ernakulam-Kayamkualm Passenger via Alappuzha.
6. Train No.56382 Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passenger via Alappuzha.
7. Train No.56303 Ernakulam-Alappuzha Passenger.

The following MEMU trains will be fully cancelled in connection with the traffic block on dates mentioned against each.

1. Train No. 66300 Kollam-Ernakulam MEMU via Kottayam will be fully cancelled on 12^th,13^th, 14^th, 16^th, 17^th, 18^th, 19^th, 20^th, 21^st and 23^rd December 2018.
2. Train No. 66301 Ernakulam-Kollam MEMU via Kottayam on 12^th,13^th, 14^th, 16^th, 17^th, 18^th, 19^th, 20^th, 21^st and 23^rd December 2018.
3. Train No.66307 Ernakulam-Kollam MEMU via Kottayam on 13^th, 14^th, 15^th,16^th, 17^th, 18^th, 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd and 23^rd December 2018.
4. Train No.66308 Kollam-Ernakulam MEMU via Kottayam 13^th, 14^th, 15^th,16^th, 17^th, 18^th, 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd and 23^rd December 2018.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION

Train No.56365 Guruvayur-Punalur Passenger via Kottayam will be partially cancelled between Kottayam-Punalur on all days from 12^th December 2018 to 23^rd December 2018.

Train No.56366 Punalur-Guruvayur Passenger via Kottayam will be partially cancelled between Punalur-Kottayam on all days from 12^th December 2018 to 23^rd December 2018.

Train No.56380 Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passenger via Alappuzha will be partially cancelled in Alappuzha-Ernakulam section on on all days from 12^th December 2018 to 23^rd December 2018.

RESCHEDULING

1. Train No.07222 Kollam-Machelipatnam special scheduled to depart from Kollam Jn. at 10.00 hrs. on 12^th December 2018 will be rescheduled to leave Kollam Jn. at 12.00 hrs. (late by 2 hours).
2. Train No.07212 Kollam-Kakinada Special Train scheduled to depart from Kollam Jn. at 10.00 hrs on 14^th, 19^th, 20^th and 23^rd December 2018 will be rescheduled to leave Kollam Jn. at 12.00 hrs.  (late by 2 hours).
3. Train No.07214 Kollam-Vijayawada Special Train scheduled to depart from Kollam Jn. at 10.00 hrs on 21^st December 2018 will be rescheduled to leave Kollam Jn. at 12.00 hrs. (late by 2 hours).
4. Train No.08516 Kollam-Visakhapatnam Special Train scheduled to depart from Kollam Jn. at 10.00 hrs. on 17^th December 2018 will be rescheduled to leave Kollam Jn. at 12.00 hrs (late by 2 hours).

REGULATION

1. Train No.16382 Kanniyakumari-Mumbai CSMT Jayanthi Express will be regulated for 1 hour 30 minutes en route between Kollam-Chingavanam on 12^th,16^th, 17^th, 19^th, 21^st and 23^rd December 2018 and regulated for 2 hours in the same section on 13^th,14^th, 15^th, 18^th and 20^th December 2018.
2. Train No.12625 Thiruvananthapuram-New Delhi Kerala Express will be regulated for 45 minutes at Chengannur on 14^th December 2018 and regulated for 1 hour 10 minutes at Thiruvalla on 22^nd December 2018.
3. Train No.06049 Chennai Central-Kollam Special will be regulated for 5 hours at Kottayam on 22^nd December 2018.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS

1. A Special Passenger train will leave Kottayam Jn. at 10.45 hrs and run up to Ernakulam Jn (Arrival: 12.05 hrs/Ernakulam Jn.) on all days from 12^th December 2018 to 23^rd December 2018 for the benefit of Sabarimala Pilgrim Passengers/Reserved/Unreserved passengers of Train No. 17229 Thiruvanantapuram-Hyderabad Sabari Express.

2. A Special Passenger train will leave Ernakulam Jn at 12.30 hrs and run as per the timings of Train No. 56387 Ernakulam-Kayamkulam Passenger on all days from 12^th December 2018 to 23^rd December 2018 for the connecting passengers of Train No 12626 New Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram Kerala Express and Train No.12081 Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram Janshatabdi Express on Ernakulam-Kottayam-Kayamkulam route.
