Chhattisgarh: 2 Maoists killed in encounter with security forces in Sukma district of Bastar division

In Chhattisgarh, two Maoists have been killed in an encounter with security forces in Sukma district of Bastar division. Police said, a joint team of Special Task Force and District Reserve Group was on a search operation in Chintagufa area when Maoists ambushed the team.

Maoists first triggered an IED blast and then opened fire on the personnel. The personnel retaliated leading to encounter. One security personnel was also injured.
