Three security personnel, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector, were injured in an IED blast triggered by the Maoists in Bastar region of Chhattisgarh today.
The incident took place when a team of District Police Force was on a search operation in Bhairamgarh area of Bijapur district.
Maoists triggered the IED blast in the jungle of Bodli, targeting the Police team. The condition of one injured jawan is reported to be critical.
Meanwhile, a team of security personnel recovered two pressure bombs weighing five kilogram each near Barda river in Kondagaon district today.
The bombs were recovered during search operation. Later Bomb disposal Squad defused the bombs.
