  • Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to visit Mumbai to promote investment opportunities in Rajasthan

    Mumbai : The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhara Raje, will visit Mumbai on May 5 and 6 to attend an investors Vasundra Raje newmeet being organised by the Government of Rajasthan in association with Confederation of Indian Industry. The delegation will meet with leading businessmen and corporate leaders to showcase investment opportunities in the state.

    This event is a part of a series of domestic and international roadshows being organised by the Rajasthan Government to promote the state as an investment destination and invite investors to the Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit 2015, scheduled to be held in Jaipur on November 19-20, this year.

    The delegation from the Government of Rajasthan will include the Minister for Public Health & Engineering Smt. Kiran Maheshwari, Minister for Public Works and Transportation, Shri Yoonus Khan and Commissioner, Department of Industries, Shri Abhay Kumar.

    Shri Abhay Kumar said, “The government recognizes that private sector has a central role to play in achieving sustainable development and inclusive growth. We are inviting companies to forge enduring partnerships with the state”

    Rajasthan, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, is being seen as a leader in policy reform especially after initiating labor reforms to improve the business environment in the state. This has sent a positive signal to investors. Other new initiatives include announcement of the New Solar Policy and Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme which provides an attractive incentives package.

    Earlier roadshows in Germany, Japan, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Ludhiana have been huge successes, and have attracted the interest of various investors to the state.
