Guwahati :Amid tensions along the border, China has reportedly completed laying railway tracks linking Tibet’s Lhasa and Nyingchi cities close to arunachal Pradesh border, here was official intelligence briefing of the Indian Army. The Indian Army official said that the Sichuan-Tibet Railway will be the second railway in Tibet after the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. China has completed the work of laying a railway line connecting Lhasa and Nyingchi cities in Tibet.

This railway line has been laid to the border of Arunachal Pradesh. Sichuan-Tibet Railway will be the second railway route after the Qinghai-Tibet Railway in Tibet. This railway line would pass through the southeast Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the most active geological area in the world. The Sichuan-Tibet Railway starts from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, and crosses the vehicle and enters Tibet via Kyamdo. This reduces the time of 48 hours from Chengdu to Lhasa to 13 hours. Linhi is known as Nyingchi. It is located near the border of Arunachal Pradesh. Last month, President Xi Chin Khanfag had asked the authorities to expedite the completion of the new railway project. He said that it will play an important role in stability on the border. Designed for a speed of 160 kms, a 435 km railway line passes through 47 tunnels and 120 bridges.  On the other hand, China reiterated its claim on Arunachal Pradesh.

China this morning not only denied any information on the border of the New Railway line of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) built under the supervision of the Chinese border in India-Arunachal Pradesh, but also reiterated its claim on the north-eastern border state of India. A spokesman for the People’s Liberation Army of China said Beijing had never recognized “so-called Arunachal Pradesh” as part of India as it was a part of China’s “South Tibet”. He also said that China does not need to share the information of the new railway line Arunachal Pradesh. He said no information of his countries will be given to India. Refusing to tell about the new railway line, he said it is China’s own case. There is no need to give it to anybody.Attachments area
