Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) participated in the massive event – Patna Half Marathon, organised today’s morning (Sunday, 27-03-2022) at Gandhi Maidan Patna to spread awareness about Nasha Mukt Samaj Abhiyan. The students and faculty members from the institute participated in the event to motivate people against the social ills of liquor addiction. Moreover, the event also supported the national wide campaign Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.
Prof. Dr. Rana Singh, Director-CIMP informed that the institute has been organizing several programs to promote “Save the Girl Child” and “Educate the Girl Child” campaign since it was launched in 2015. Moreover, the institute has always supported all the social campaigns related to creating awareness about the state-wide liquor ban. All the students, staff members, and faculty members participated in the event to extend their full support to Nasha Mukt Samaj Abhiyan. Prof. Rana added that subsequent to the Patna Half Marathon event, CIMP students also took part in a Slogan Writing Competition for spreading awareness about the Nasha Mukt Samaj Abhiyan. Prof. Rana emphasized the significant role of educational institutions in changing the mindset of the people where students may become future change leaders. Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna is the brainchild of Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, and in a short duration, it has emerged as a pioneer in creating a new generation of socially sensitive young management professionals.
