Hyderabad : Valmiki Foundation, a city based non profit development organization set up by a group of social workers announced that it is setting up an Orphanage Residential school with recreation facilities to accommodate 500 destitute children.
We are scouting for a place near Pragnapur in city outskirts enroute Karimnagar. We will complete this project in next five years. The project will cost anywhere in the range of Rs 5 to 7crores. We are confident of completing this project with an active support of philanthropic people. Some big charitable people and donors have already approached us informed Mr. Surya Ganesh, President of the Foundation.
My father was an orphan, in his infancy and adolescence strengthened my fervent desire to extend selfless service to those who are on the lower rungs of socio-economic ladder he said. .
Adding further Ganesh Valmiki shared the milestones of Valmiki Foundation achieved. And informed that it has reached closely 5000 destitute children by extending education support and organizing various activities such as Mobile Rural Camp by Students from Taiwan; Valmiki Hriday, an Orphanage home project in which currently 25 children are being taken care of; Valmiki Scholarship distribution to the meritorious children and organization of blood camps and health check up activities.
We will also focus on rural education, youth empowerment, skill development, he said.
