  • City Unlocked: Gin Explorers Club – India’s Biggest Gin Festival Takes Over Bengaluru!

     Bangalore : Food Talk India brought Gin Explorers Club to Bengaluru for the first time on November 5-6, 2022 at the Jayamahal Palace Hotel and took the city by storm!

    With all roads leading to the festival, the city experienced an enthralling party for gin lovers as they successfully transported guests to the magical Gin City, something Bangalore has never witnessed before.

    With over 6000 people attending, the two-day festival showcased a fantastic mix of 15 Homegrown and International Gin and Mixer brands coming together: Monkey 47, Gordon’s, Greater Than, Hendrick’s, Jaisalmer, Beefeater, Samsara, Stranger & Sons, Tamras, Tanqueray, Salud and more.

    The weekend saw many innovative and special events such as bar takeovers and some fun activities – with takeovers from some of the best bars from across the country serving up some delicious tipples, from Home Bar, Delhi, and The Hideaway, Goa to Ekaa, Mumbai and Cobbler & Crew, Pune to get people to experience signature cocktails from all over.

    Adding to the cocktail experience were game zones created at various bars, to the likes of Greater Than coming in with a punching game to challenge guests to throw their Greatest punch and ‘toss the ring’ at the Jade Forest bar to stand a chance to walk away with some goodies! Along with this, the weekend got a splash of colour with a face painting artist to get everyone festival ready!

    Bangalore also experienced an enthralling lineup of artists at the festival – Day 1 featured artists like Anjna, Frizell D’souza, Aditi Ramesh with Peter Cat Recording Co. ending the night with a bang. The second day saw artists like Tarang Joseph, Mary Ann, Nida, Stalvart John and SickFlip bringing the two-day celebration to a close.

    Spotted at the festival were prominent names in the city like Rahul Subramaniam, Dhanya Ramkumar, Madhuri Braganza, Azaan Sait, Zohara Jamal to name a few.

    Jayamahal Palace saw a variety of curated restaurant pop-ups like Brik Oven, Cantan, Fatty Bao, Burgerama, Rudy’s Goa, Local Ferment Co. to satisfy your hunger pangs.

    With the plan to only get bigger, Gin Explorers Club gave the guests an experience of a juniper-fuelled exploration in their mythical land and is all set to head to many more cities like Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai in the near future.
