Haflong : To clean the surrounding of Ranachandi Temple (Maibang Stone House) at Maibang all the members of All Dimasa Students Union organized a cleanliness drive on Thursday.

The Archaeological Department which is responsible for keeping this heritage site neat and clean but allegedly kept it neglected without maintaining the heritage site.

The cleanliness drive was accompanied by Mairing Johori, General Secretary, ADSU and Prinish Daulagupu, Secretary, ADSU along with the members of the ADSU Maibang Unit.

They said the Archeology Department has just erect its Official Sign Board in the heritage site but failed to maintained it properly. The department is requested to maintain this site of historical importance properly instead of putting sign board only. 

The further requested everyone visiting the Ranachandi Temple (Maibang Stone House) not to through plastic or beer bottle hither and thither within the campus.
