  • CNG GasIndraprashta Gas Limited -IGL has raised the price of Compressed Natural Gas, CNG by two rupees per kilogram in the national capital. The consumer in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad will have to pay two rupees and 25 paise per kilogram more. The new rates came into effect midnight last night. With this, the CNG in Delhi will cost 41 rupees and 90 paise, while in its adjoining areas it will cost 47 rupees and 35 paise per kilogram.

     

    The company has also hiked the prices of Piped Natural Gas by a rupee per standard cubic meter in the national capital region. In a statement, the IGL said that the revision in the prices was necessitated by the depreciation of rupee and increase in the output cost of gas.
