    Mysuru- At a time when the second wave of COVID-19 is wreaking havoc across Mysuru and neighbouring regions amidst many helping hands if there is one young co-operative leader who is seen visible helping people in distress, it is GD Harish Gowda who is lending a helping hand to the people to fight Covid-19.

    A popular co-operative leader and a budding politician Harish Gowda are stepping in on the ground and personally helping the people struggling to get beds or ambulance amidst a dearth of medical resources.

    He has emerged as a saviour to many in these testing times and a saviour for those in the cooperative sector and poor financial background.

    Harish Gowda who is inspired by the works of his father MLA G T Devegowda is trying to fit into his shoe helping people in distress through the GTD foundation.

    From arranging for beds, oxygen, medicines to distributing kits and essentials to the people in need he is winning hearts and praises from the people.

    “I realised and got to witness how people were scrambling for resources to save the lives of their parents, family members, friends infected by the coronavirus. Having known the ground reality as I work closely in the cooperative sector, I decided to do the best I can,” says Harish Gowda.

    He has assumed significance in the eyes of many citizens for his help amid the raging pandemic for helping people in need of emergency medicines, oxygen, and ambulance coordinate aid for people on a war footing.

    From donating groceries to prepare free foods packets for the needy, migrants and working on the ground, Harish Gowda has emerged as a saviour helping COVID patients in receiving proper care, giving them a new lease of life.
