Cold wave conditions continued to prevail over North India particularly in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, North West Rajasthan, North East Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh.
The maximum was recorded 19.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal. In the coming week, the minimum temperature is likely to range between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted rainfall next week.
The air quality in the national capital continued to remain poor. According to Central Pollution Control Board the Air Quality Index was recorded at 247 this evening which falls in the poor category.
