The speculated investment amount is around 1-2 crores, which is quite impressive for this app which is just a few months old.

Bangalore based company Conker World Pvt. Ltd. headed by Arvind Arora and Sachin Upadhyay is in news again as its most ambitious project Conker App is rumoured to seal the deal with known angel investor Prafull MBA Chaiwala who is ready with an investment of around 1-2 crores. Though these are unconfirmed reports, there are speculations that this deal will go through soon as the investor is keen on getting onboard as he has found this project to be extremely encouraging as it deals with the education sector. The investor has always backed projects associated with causes he supports, and this one also fits the bill perfectly.

Conker app has grown popular within just a few months of its launch as it is based on a powerful concept that brings affordable education to those whose reach is limited when it comes to getting enrolled in the best educational institutions. They are targetting the vernacular speaking student base, which is prominent across India. Furthermore, the fees don’t pinch the pockets, and that makes Conker a valuable proposition for many. Since its launch there have been more than 5 lakh downloads which gives enough proof of its popularity amongst students.

Speaking about his pet project, Arvind Arora says, “the education sector is booming, but there’s a lag somewhere because the majority of the student population are unable to afford the fees that these prestigious institutes charge. The idea was to reach out to this student base, most of whom come from vernacular speaking backgrounds, and provide a platform that can help in shaping up their educative dreams. We are confident that Conker will take over the education sector in a big way in coming months.”
