    Guwahati: The biggest case of coronavirus infection has been reported in Markaz, the Islamic religious gathering center of Tablighi Jamaat in Nizamuddin in the capital. Due to which there is a danger in the whole country .including Assam and Meghalaya.The Assam Health Department official said that 299 people involved in this program are being searched in the state. The Assam government said on Monday night that people attending the event of Markaz feared the spread of Corona infection to others in the state. More than 5,000 people from India and abroad participated in the event held from March 1 to 15. . But even after this, around 2000 people stayed here. Now they are being taken out.Delhi Health Minister Satendra Jain said on Tuesday that 24 people present in Markaz Building turned out to be positive. Satendra Jain said that we cannot tell how many people were present in the Markaz Building during the lockdown, but this number could be from 1500 to 1700. 1033 people have been evacuated. So far 334 people have been shifted to the hospital.

Another data showed that five people from Meghalaya also participated in the congregation.

    “The Assam government is now in the possession of a list of 299 persons who were present near the Nizamuddin Dargah and in the hotspot. We have issued strict instructions to leave them to find out that they have returned to Assam, and are in the state.
