  • Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon celebrates the “Joy of Giving Week”

    New Delhi: With an aim to prove that nothing is more satisfying than the joy of giving, Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon in proud to reach out to the underprivileged and celebrate the Joy of Giving Week. To combat the evils in the society; lack of education, poverty, lack of clothing and adequate day to day amenities the hotel is conducting various initiatives where the employees come together to give the society a better living.

    Speaking at the onset of the Joy of Giving week celebrations Mr. Matthew Cooper, General Manager, the Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon said, “Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon is playing a part in giving something back to the society. Every associate in our hotel is passionately involved in our Spirit to Serve initiatives. The team has an enthusiastic attitude that extends to their community, where their service experience and generosity of spirit enrich the lives of many.”

    Starting October 2 – 8 2011, the hotel will have one signature dish ‘Marriott Burger’ at MoMo Café for the full week and the proceeds from the dish will go towards the welfare of the NGO and Marriott Home in Chennai. The Marriott Home shelters and educates 180 children of families affected by leprosy.  Also on the 4th of October the kids from Sankalp School in Gurgaon will spend a day at Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon. The associates of the hotel will spend time with the children by having food with them and also playing, singing and dancing with them. The kids will also be provided by offerings and there will a hygiene session for them where they will be taught basics of hygiene and dental care.

    Through this activity Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon requests one and all to come together and extend services to the community.
