When both these options are not available, users can share an Internet connection via a smartphone with Internet tethering capability. The 3G-6218n is compatible with many major smartphones on the market-like iPhone, HTC, Blackberry, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and other smartphones**.

The 3G-6218n 150Mbps Wireless 3G Portable Router is lightweight and only about the size of the average smartphone. With a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery, this compact 3G router allows multiple users to enjoy up to 4 hours of wireless connectivity where an electrical outlet is not available.
