Speaking on the occasion Mr.Ch. Ramchandra Reddy, Chairman, CREDAI Telangana said, “CREDAI is the voice of the real estate sector and works closely with the Government in the formulation of the policies and guidelines for the real estate sector both at state and national level. Telangana has been at the forefront of reforms in the real-estate sector, the initiatives like TS-bPASS, a single window process for approval of real estate projects, ‘DHARANI’ an integrated land record management portal by Govt. of Telangana is helping clearly define the land records and streamline revenues. These measures are facilitating the ease of doing business. Thevisionary and proactive policies of the state government are helping attract fresh investments in the state across industries, helping rapid urbanization, job creation and growth. A systematic approach towards the Agri Sector throughKaleshwaram project, increasing the Agri-area, and support throughRythuBandhu Scheme, is helping improve the sector and boost the rural economy. Apart from IT,ITeS, industries, the resilience of the Telangana economy is aided by agriculture and allied sectors, which are growing by a robust 20.9% as against the 3% growth at the national level. This has triggered the growth across the state, promoting the demand for the real estate projects.TS-CONCLAVE 2021 is planned to help the member developers, particularly new members across the state get the undertaking of the complete process, approvals required to undertake a real estate project under TS-RERA, understand the nuances for project finance and access the latest technologies to improve the quality and speed of construction. We invite more and more members from across the state to participate in the TS CONCLAVE 2021 and reap the benefits in their ventures.”

Adding to this Mr.  D. Murali Krishna Reddy, President, CREDAI Telangana said, “Since the formation of the state of Telangana, the dynamic and visionary leadership with proactive governance has helped Telangana take rapid strides in development. The state leads the country in terms of office space absorption, fresh investments leading to job creation. Telangana had added additional 46,489 new jobs in the IT sector and 2.5 times increase in providing the jobs indirectly in the FY 2020-21. Electronics sector also created over 1.5 lakh jobs. TSIIC has developed 10 Industrial Parks and allotted 810 acres to 453 industries to bring in investment opportunities and boost the start-ups’ growth across the state.. Telangana is contributing 5% in the National GDP and became the 2nd highest contributor to India’s IT exports. State registered a 13% annual growth in IT/ITeS Exports in the country with a record high of INR Rs 1.45 lakh crore in the FY 2020-21, as against Rs 1.28 lakh crore in the previous year. This has given a major impetus to the demand for the real estate sector in the state. The developers are geared up to the challenge and working meticulously to service the increased demand for real estate. In an attempt to recognize the efforts of our member developers, we are happy to announce the 3rd Edition of CREATE Awards, to recognize the outstanding contributions, innovations and commitment displayed in the trying times of COVID-19 to set new benchmarks for the industry along with the TS-Conclave.”

According to Sri E. Premsagar Reddy, President-Elect, CREDAI Telangana, “The overall development in the state has triggered an increased demand for more real estate projects. A lot of new people have used this opportunity to foray into real estate ventures. Due to the lack of awareness and knowledge, these new players often sell UDS / non-RERA approved projects, causing unwanted disruption in the real estate market. CREDAI mandates all members to follow the ethical code of conduct and adherence to the prescribed guidelines by the authorities. In an effort to help the new developers we are launching a book on SOP’s for the project outlining the steps to be followed from the NOC to Conceptualization to Handing over of the project to the purchaser. We hope this will help the new-entrants get a checklist to follow, adhere to the guidelines and deliver good quality projects, helping bridge the demand supply gap.”

Elaborating about the TS-CONCLAVE and CREATE awards Mr. K. Indrasena Reddy, Secretary, CREDAI Telangana said, “Since the formation of Telangana State, the state has witnessed rapid growth in business, infrastructure development and job creation. Last year about US$84 Billon were remitted in India from the US, major portion of this investment has been directed towards the Real Estate Sector, particularly in cities like Hyderabad. The unique single window industrial policy by the state has attracted Rs. 2.14 lakh crore in investments creating 1.56 million jobs. TS RERA has issued 2,700 permissions since June 2018, which will not be sufficient to meet the demand for housing in the state as the state continues to attract fresh investments across sectors. This is resulting in the spurt in demand, increase in price for the real estate in Telangana. Some in-experienced people are trying to make the most of the situation and misusing the opportunity by following unethical practices. They must be checked. At CREDAI Telangana we believe ‘Complaining is the language of the children and contribution is the method adopted by the enlightened and responsible’, therefore we are working with the Government to frame set of rules and guidelines to streamline the industry, introduce measures to identify, penalize and remove unscrupulous elements and ease the bottlenecks in the industry. At the forthcoming TS-CONCLAVE @ HICC on 23rd December 2021 we will release a SOP book for the developers, a guideline on the processes to be followed and approvals required. We will also partner with ANAROCK to release a report on the Future of Telangana State. CREDAI Telangana will also release a handbook on new innovations and technologies in construction to help members be more systematic and efficient in business.”
