    Published on November 13, 2018

Dassault Aviation CEO Eric Trappier has rejected allegations made by Congress president Rahul Gandhi that he had lied about the details of the Dassault-Reliance Joint Venture for offset contracts in the Rafale deal.

He said this in an interview with a news agency.

On the pricing issue, Trappier said that the present aircraft are cheaper by 9 per cent.

Meanwhile, Congress said that there is a need for fair investigation into Rafale deal.

Party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said, the doctored explanations on the deal cannot cover up the alleged irregularities.
