Deb Busser, an Executive Leadership Coach and Facilitator with 3D Leadership Group, a Boston-based leadership development firm, was recently awarded the Master Certified Coach credential (MCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF). With only 1570 MCC coaches globally, less than 4% of all credentialed coaches, this is a rare recognition and accomplishment.
The MCC is the highest credential awarded by the ICF and is the gold standard for the coaching profession. It requires completion of an ICF-accredited coaching program, written assessments, commitment to ethical guidelines, submission of recorded coaching sessions, 140 hours of continuing coach education, and a minimum of 2,500 hours of client coaching.
Deb Busser has been a coach since 2003 and joined the 3D Leadership team in January of 2015. As an Executive Leadership Coach, she works with senior executives in a number of industries including life sciences, pharmaceutical, health care, and financial services. She also has experience as a facilitator and coach at several Ivy League Business Schools. Prior to her work in coaching, Busser held leadership roles at Fidelity Investments in human resources and product marketing.
The Townsend, MA native earned her undergraduate degree in Business and her Master’s Degree in Community Social Psychology, both from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she has been an adjunct professor. Busser is further connected with her alma mater as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the U Mass Lowell College of Education. Currently, she is taking classes at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government towards a Credential in Public Leadership.
She resides in Groton, MA. She and her husband are parents to two adult children. In her leisure time, she teaches a creative dance class for adults at her local community center.
