  • Delhi continues in weather,hope rain

    New Delhi: The capital woke up to a pleasant but cloudy morning Thursday with the weather officials predicting rainfall later in the day.

    Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 27.5 degrees Celsius, which was normal for this time of the season.
    “Skies will remain cloudy with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in some parts of the city. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 30 degrees Celsius,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

    The humidity was on the higher side. It was recorded at 91 percent. The capital received a total of 4.2 mm of rainfall since Wednesday morning.
    Delhi has recorded a total of 320 mm of rainfall so far this monsoon season – two percent below average.
