Delhi Duty Free launches ‘Platinum Club’ Services for Esteemed Travelers

New Delhi :  Inching closer to providing one of finest retail shopping experience at any airport in the country, Delhi Duty Free, India’s largest duty free retail space at T3, IGI Airport, announced the launch of ‘Platinum Club’ services for its esteemed patrons. The launch of the services was announced during a high profile evening held at Hotel Leela, Chanakyapuri in Delhi, in the presence of the who’s who of the corporate world.

The ‘Platinum Club’ services have specially been launched keeping in mind the interest and caprice of High Networth Individuals (HNIs). The services on offer for the Platinum Club members will include a Personal Shopping Manager with dedicated express counters at departures and arrivals; pre-booking facility through which travelers will be able to pre-order and collect their products by placing the order on call; information about the new launches and promotions, before they are launched at the duty free shops; Preferred access to new and exclusive launches, exclusive savings and much more.

The high profile evening at the Hotel Leela, witnessed the presence of many HNI’s from different walks of life and editors from leading publications. The evening was well enjoyed by all in attendance.

The evening also saw the launch of Diageo’s Johnnie Walker Explorers’ collection – a range of completely new travel retail exclusive Blended Scotch Whisky The Johnnie Walker Explorers’ Club is based on the spirit of the Travellers’ Room established by Alexander Walker in the City of London in the 1890s. Close to the shipping houses and docks from which its agents journeyed the world, they gathered to exchange stories and learnings from their travels, in turn inspiring generations of Master Blenders. The first offering is Johnnie Walker The Spice Road Blended Scotch Whisky, an evocative expression of the spices, colours and fruits. The whisky comes in an attractive packaging of the iconic square bottle, with a rich colour palette and embossed pattern reminiscent of decorative Asian panelling.
