Vegetable markets in Delhi will be open from 6 AM to 11 AM and that of fruit markets open from 2 PM to 6 PM. The decision was taken at a meeting of Delhi Development Minister Gopal Rai with the members of the market associations of seven wholesale markets of Delhi. Entry in these markets will be done only through coupons.

Mr Rai said, the Delhi government has also constituted four special taskforce and 7 nodal officers under the Vice-Chairperson and Development secretary of the Delhi Agricultural Market Board to ensure implementation of government orders in these markets.
