The Design Village, a premier institute renowned for its design education, is inviting applications for its Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) and Master of Design (M. Des.) programs for the upcoming academic year 2024-25.
This is an exciting opportunity for budding designers seeking to hone their skills and embark on a fulfilling creative journey under the guidance of industry experts. The institution will be administering the final round of admissions this month via an online entrance examination on Monday, April 29, in virtual mode.
Students have the opportunity to choose from various design specializations, including B. Des. in Space and Interior Design, B. Des. in Communication and Graphic, B. Des in Product Design, B. Des. in Transportation and Mobility Design, B. Des. in Interaction and UX Design, and also a generalist Bachelor of Design program.
For postgraduate applicants, the institute offers M. Des. in Fashion and Textile Design, M. Des. in Space and Interior Design, M. Des. in Communication and Graphic, and M. Des in Product Design.
Admission Pathway:
Aspiring design enthusiasts can embark on their The Design Village journey by submitting an online application through the institute’s official website. The application process includes a nominal fee of Rs. 2,000/- and adherence to the eligibility criteria set forth by the respective regulatory bodies amended from time to time.
Eligibility:
B.Des. aspirants should have completed class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in any stream. Candidates who are currently appearing in class 12 or awaiting results are also eligible to apply. For M.Des. aspirants completion of graduation with a minimum aggregate score of 50% from any recognized institution or university is required. The degree must be from a related creative field or supported with relevant work experience. Final-year graduate students or students awaiting results can also apply for the program.
Evaluation Process:
All applicants will undergo a two-tier evaluation process comprising an Online Entrance Examination scheduled for Monday, April 29th, 2024, followed by a personal interview. The last date to apply is 26th April 2024.
