Dhaula Kuan gangrape: All 5 accused held guilty

A Delhi court has convicted all the five accused of abducting and gang raping a 30-year-old BPO executive from the northeast in south Delhi’s Dhaula Kuan area in 2010. The quantum of the punishment will be pronounced on 17th October.

Additional Sessions Judge Virender Bhatt said, the court convicted the five accused for the offences of kidnapping gangrape, criminal intimidation and sharing common intention under the IPC.

According to police, all the convicts had abducted the victim on 24th November, 2010 while she was walking home with her friend after her shift had ended.

The convicts then took the victim to Mongolpuri, gangraped her, and left her at an isolated road. The five were later arrested from Mewat in Haryana.
