After receiving the honour Mr. Khorakiwala , in his thank-giving speech, said, “I am overwhelmed by this honour and I thank all of you for considering my contributions worthy enough to be honored. I see that a lot of work has to be done in the field of social services and this honour has inspired me to do better in this direction. I hope that I will fulfill my responsibilities successfully. ”
Union Minister Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Shri Mahadev Rao were the chief guests at the ceremony. Other diginitaries at the ceremony were Mr. Pawan Jindal, North India Head Rastriya Swyang Sevak Sangh, Former MP Mr. Ramesh Bais, Mr. Gunjan Mehta President National Human Welfare Council.
Mr. Khorakiwala started his journey with Wockhardt in 1996 and served the organisation with various responsibilities. Currently, he is serving as a guide to the social services wing of the organization Wockhardt Foundation which works to fulfill social responsibilities of Wockhardt.
