New Delhi : Drawing from the personal experience which has given him the opportunity to breathe freely for every second of his life, regardless of how deplorable a situation is, the young and talented writer Kartikeya Ladha recently launched his new book “Dream Beyond Shadows”.

“Dream Beyond Shadows” captures tales about his many insightful stories, based on the experiences he gained from a trailblazing expedition to Peru, South America. This story does not derive from the writer’s imagination but from the writer’s actual experience, which has given him the opportunity to breathe freely for every second of his life, regardless of how deplorable a situation is.

In pursuit of truth, the writer abandoned his American dream of building a life in New York, to board upon a journey to Peru, South America. During his journey he followed his calling to the depths of the Amazon Jungle and there he visited a shaman, and experienced the mystical healing powers of Ayahuasca, which launched him on a quest to uncover the deep-rooted purpose of his life, and inspired him to tell this story and serve his duty as a Messenger of the Jungle.

This story is solely written for the seekers of this world, who need an affirmation that it is possible to discover their true path in life and then create their own reality based on their truth – as distinct from being controlled by a never-ending circle of desires.

The writer realized that the only way for him to find his true purpose in life was to completely surrender him to this world and begin the process of cleansing the accumulated rubbish from his being. Only when he’d freed himself from this world’s conditioning and futile societal beliefs, could he begin to relearn the realities of life and remove himself from the delusions we have all been socialized to be a part of, delusions that force us to deny the possibility that something mightier and more vigorous than us could exist in this world. Delusions that stop us from composing a life beyond the measures of normalcy and keep us oblivious of the possibility that other reality could exist in this abstruse totality.

The book is a Part autobiographical, part travelogue, part philosophical musing and part poetry, wrapped up in language both sensitive to the writer’s predicament and lyrically appreciative of the natural world, the book “Dream Beyond Shadows” addresses the ethos of the world’s current dominant civilizations.

About Kartikeya Ladha:

Born in Gwalior, a historical town in India, Kartikeya Ladha grew up immersed in the richness of India’s vibrant customs and family life, and was educated in a rigid educational system at The Scindia School, a relic from the days of the British Raj. After completing high school, Kartikeya left India to attend Northeastern University in Boston, USA, where he concentrated on Management and Entrepreneurship. After graduation he moved to Brooklyn, New York and worked for a start-up solar company as a door-to-door salesman and soon became a team leader.

 

His quest for the absolute truth led him to walk on an unknown path and inspired travels around the world to faraway lands, while he went beyond life’s usual norms to unearth his calling in our magical world. In the process, he initiated an endless stream of rediscovering himself as a human being, while trying to serve his life’s heartfelt mission.

 

He has recently finished working on the second draft of his second book, which is a direct result of the years of dedicating his life towards this purpose. He regularly faces extreme conditions to challenge his mind into attaining powerful insights that could lead us to transform ourselves by building a more nourishing world for future generations.
