Dvara E-Registry signs MoU with Vaazhndhu Kaattuvom Project, a World Bank assisted Project of the Tamil Nadu Government

As part of the MoU, Dvara E-Registry will implement its technology and enable inputs, outputs, advice and financing for the underlying farmers and corresponding business enhancement of the FPOs.

Hyderabad: Dvara E-Registry has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the World Bank assisted Vaazhndhu Kaattuvom Project (VKP) of the Tamil Nadu Government. The Project management and implementation is governed by the Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Society (TNRTS), formed under the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Government of Tamil Nadu.

VKP aims at rural transformation through strategies that look beyond poverty alleviation by building sustainability and prosperity of rural communities through rural enterprise promotion, access to finance and employment opportunities in the selected blocks of Tamil Nadu.

Through this MoU, Dvara E-Registry will implement its technology, including digital monitoring of farm operations for farmers, crop analytics, and market watch with FPOs and farmers to digitise their activities and enable inputs, outputs, advice, and financing for the underlying farmers and corresponding business enhancement of the FPOs.

Speaking about the partnership, Sanjay Mansabdar, Founder and CEO of Dvara E-Registry, said, “We are very pleased to be able to bring our FPO transformative technologies and services to the FPCs and farmers under the VKP Project. We are confident that these technologies will go a long way in improving the productivity and incomes of both FPOs and their member farmers through the provision of digitisation lead services encompassing inputs, outputs, advice and financing, and showcase the effective use of technology at the last mile.”

Doordrishti, a mobile and web-based platform developed by Dvara E-Registry, allows farmers, FPOs and partner institutions to leverage traditional and alternative data to digitise farmer and FPO lands, business activity and provide them farm and crop-specific products and services. KhetScore, an AI-based farm score developed by Dvara E-Registry, leverages remotely sensed data from several satellites and enables remote multi-dimensional assessment of historical and concurrent agricultural activity.
