Pune  : – DY Patil University Pune conducted a one day corporate Symposium at its Pune Campus , Industry experts from different fields spoke on several pertinent issues and shared their experience with Students  Mr .Shajan Samuel Sr. Vice President MAAC(India) was the Guest Speaker and spoke on “ life Skills “

During the course of his session he asked the students to avoid hyperbolic discounting –  He added In the short term and in the formative years of life one has to step outside their comfort zone and push the envelope, move outside their geographies  and into an unknown and unfamiliar terrain, this would make them resilient , liberal and free spirited .

Mr. Shajan said that  When you get There , there is no there – Happiness is a subjective state of euphoria  , moment of success is very transient , “ Happiness is not about the money in your Bank , the Car you drive or the House you stay , it’s about how many people you impacted .  It’s about giving Joy to others,” there are only two similarities between all of us, each of us have 24 hours and all of us will die, death is an inevitable destination, so make your life worthwhile, make it count, each one of us are working hard to make our tomorrow better, but there is no tomorrow, it’s today or nothing “

More than 250 Students attended the session .
