  • Elevate Counseling Services promotes Allyson Balara to Associate Director of the practice’s Children’s Team

    EASTON, MA: Elevate Counseling Services  (https://www.elevate-counseling.com), a growing practice serving the needs of clients from locations in South Easton, Middleboro and Bellingham, has promoted Allyson Balara to Associate Director of the Children’s Team.

    In this role, she will supervise all clinicians who work with children ages 12 and under, across all of the practice’s locations. She works primarily out of the Easton location.

    Allyson Balara joined Elevate Counseling Services in 2017 as a clinician. Prior to that, she was a Case Manager for Beacon Health, and before that she worked in the field of community mental health. She had some experience additionally as a school counselor during an internship at the University of New Orleans. She earned her Masters’ Degree from the University of New Orleans, and her undergraduate degree from Bridgewater State University. She holds the LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) designation.

    Her area of specialization is working with children and teenagers managing anxiety, and building coping skills to manage stressors.

    The Easton, MA resident enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband Nick, and sons Neo and Chase. In her spare time, she and her family take karate lessons at a local studio.
