EASTON, BELLINGHAM and LAKEVILLE:Elevate Counseling Services (https://www.elevate-counseling.com), a growing practice serving the needs of clients from locations in South Easton, Lakeville and Bellingham, has resumed in-person counseling options for clients at all of its locations.
Leigh-Ann Larson, CEO, said that Elevate Counseling will now offer in-person sessions for clients who prefer to meet face-to-face with a therapist, but that the practice will still maintain the Telehealth model which has been the mainstay of the practice during the COVID restrictions.
“We have been discussing this with our clients for a few months now,” said Larson, who said that there has been significant interest in the in-person option. “We have missed seeing our clients in person, but the videoconferencing and telephone sessions have worked very well also,” she said.
The resumption of in-person visits for those clients who elect this option comes at a time when Elevate Counseling continues to expand. Recently, the practice opened a new location in Lakeville and is in the process of opening a fourth location in Raynham. Larson said that the additional space is needed to accommodate their continued growth.
“We have therapists who are dedicated to the Telehealth model, and others who will operate in a hybrid model of in-person and virtual,” she said. “It’s really all about what the client wants.”
Elevate Counseling will follow rigid safety protocols for in-person visitations, including masks and social distancing. Additionally, the practice has stringent deep cleaning and disinfectant policies in place. All in-person counseling will be by appointment only. “Telehealth helped us all get through an extraordinary time,” she said, adding, “And we will definitely keep it as an option – as one of the services we offer.” She said, “But we do look forward to seeing our clients again too.”
