Eminent artist-sculptor Dr Sobha Brahma remembered

Kokrajhar : The 9th death anniversary of eminent artist-sculptor Dr Sobha Brahma was observed at Kokrajhar Music & Fine Arts College in Kokrajhar.

As part of the programme floral tribute were paid at the portrait of the eminent artist.

The college authority of Kokrajhar Music & Fine Arts College Kokrajhar, teacher, students and artists paid rich tribute and remembered remembered the contribution of Brahma in the field of art. Considered as an avant-garde and a pioneer in the field of modern and contemporary art, Brahma was honoured with Kala Ratna by Lalit Kala Akademi, Kamal Kumari National Award and numerous other awards as well.

Born on 14th October 1929, Brahma died on 5th March, 2012.
