Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment, a ‘Toolkit Distribution Ceremony’

GUWAHATI : In order to provide necessary impetus and momentum towards Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment, a ‘Toolkit Distribution Ceremony’ was held at Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati, under M/o Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India, Amingaon, Guwahati on 7 th January 2021.

The basic objectives of the programme was to provide hand holding assistance to the participants of 04 Nos. of Skill Development Programme on ‘Readymade Garment Tailoring’ which was concluded recently at Amingaon, Guwahati by way of providing stitching machine and all other required kits to each participants to enable them to setup their own livelihood venture fir a decent earnings in future. The entire toolkit and training expenses was borne by National SC-ST Hub, National Small Industries Corporation, Govt. of India Enterprise and the training programme and distribution ceremony as a whole were organized by Tool Room & Training Centre, Guwahati.

The following dignitaries graced the toolkit distribution ceremony at TRTC, Guwahati on 7 th January 2021. 1. Shri Kailash Kartick N. IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup (Rural) 2. Shri Abhinash Chaudhury, Zonal General Manager, NSIC, Guwahati 3. Shri Sunil Kumar Mishra, General Manager, NABARD, Guwahati 4. Shri Baikuntha Phukan, Branch Manager, SBI, Amingaon 5. Shri Rabindra Hanmattekar, Project Executive, Yuva Vikas Kendra, Amingaon 6. Shri Kajal Kumar Saha, Project Manager, Tool Room & Training Centre, Guwahati Shri Kailash Kartich N. IAS in his presentation, lauded TRTC, Guwahati to organize such programme and also elaborated various schemes of Govt. of Assam for the benefits of participants. Earlier, while welcoming the dignitaries, Shri Kajal Kumar Saha, Project Manager, TRTC, Guwahati emphasized the need of self-employment for promotion of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. Other dignitaries also spoke on the occasion. As a part of the ceremony, all the dignitaries were also exposed to various latest infrastructural facilities of TRTC, Guwahati for imparting training to the youths of NE Region. Later on, sewing machines and toolkits were presented by the dignitaries to all the participants.
